Great example of a completely rebuilt and running 1966 Triumph Bonneville T120. Minor signs of use and wear consistent with age of bike and an older restoration. Frame and engine numbers match, but do not appear to be factory triumph numbers. These numbers were on a NM Title from 1996, I have no knowledge of the bikes history and reason for this. Great bike for someone that wants to ride a reliable old triumph.

Description

1966 Triumph Bonneville – Fully Restored and running. OEM and British Standard parts were used when replaced.  The bike was fully restoredby painters, professionals, and former flat track racers in 2000ish.
Video of cold start and running is here:

I am only the third owner of this bike.  Clear New Mexico title in my name.  Clean black and chrome build. This bike runs strong and generally starts on the first kick.  It does not need any work.  It is good to go.  It is not a “just needs a tune up” or “it’s fully restored but I never ride it” type bike.
After the bike was restored, it probably has no more than 2,100 miles on it. Maintained and started/ridden regularly.
Some thoughtful improvements have been added to this build to improve reliability and longevity. A small oil cooler, oil filter under the swing arm, and an oil pressure gauge in place of the amp meter.
The black paint shows well. Clumps of polishing compound can still be found on the bike. Slight corrosion- pictured- on the rims. A few small paint nicks on the frame and areas of the tank and other painted parts – Seat interface, etc. easily addressed.
I’ve ridden this bike regularly since owning it and it’s a solid runner. Starts right up, a little cold blooded at first, but a great companion after a few moments.
Spedo is not connected and the side stand was broken long ago. I will include a bolt on side stand that I purchase, but have not installed. Center stand works fine and tires are in great condition. The bike has been stored inside and under a cover since.
Many many hours have been spent restoring this bike and a small fortune in money.
