GM TRUCK, COOLANT BOTTLE & CAP, WITH HEAVY DUTY MOUNTING HARDWARE & GATES HOSE INCLUDED.
WILL FIT GM FULL SIZE TRUCKS, 1981-87 CK SERIES & 88-91 RV PICKUPS, FULL SIZE BLAZER & SUBURBAN.
FOR SALE IS HEAVY DUTY COOLANT BOTTLE WITH ACDELCO CAP . CAP WAS REMOVED FROM BOX FOR PICTURES.
THE HEAVY DUTY HARDWARE & “GATES” HOSE FOR MOUNTING TO INNER FENDER IS INCLUDED.
THE
RADIATOR COOLANT OVER FLOW BOTTLE / RESERVOIR IS A HEAVY DUTY BOTTLE 1.5 GALLON CAPACITY WITH THICK MATERIAL, A  PREMIUM QUALITY PART. THE BOTTLE HAS BEEN PRESSURE TESTED FOR LEAKS.  USE CAUTION IF USING A BLADE TO OPEN YOUR PACKAGE.  THIS FITS LIKE ORIGINAL AND CORRECT FROM
1985-91, WILL ALSO FIT THE 1981-84 TRUCKS BUT IS NOT ORIGINAL FOR THOSE YEARS. THE 81-84 USES A FLIP CAP, NOT A SCREW ON CAP.  THIS BOTTLE FITS ON TOP OF THE INNER FENDER ON PASSENGERS SIDE. THE BOTTLE AND CAP IS APPROXIMATELY 11 INCHES TALL. I PROVIDED PICTURES FOR PLACEMENT & FITMENT REFERENCE OF A 1985 SILVERADO ENGINE COMPARTMENT WITH THIS TYPE BOTTLE INSTALLED.  THIS WILL BOLT INTO EXISTING PROVISIONS AS ORIGINAL ON YOUR GM TRUCKS .
“NO MODIFICATIONS NEEDED”
REQUIRES 3 BOLTS AND FASTNERS, “INCLUDED”, TO INSTALL TO INNER RIGHT FENDER HOLES.

TLE AND CAP WITH MOUNTING HARDWARE & HOSE WILL BE SHIPPED EXACTLY AS PICTURED.
THE RESERVOIR WILL CATCH ALL COOLANT THAT USUALLY OVERFLOWS ON HIGH PERFORMANCE OR HOT ENGINES WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE ENGINE. THEN WILL SEND COOLANT BACK INTO RADIATOR AS ENGINE COOLS. ENGINE COOLANT IS EXPENSIVE , STOP THROWING IT AWAY !
Hi Mr. Customer, I understand that your mounting holes don’t line up. If a Vehicle has ever been in an Accident, that may throw off the mounting hole by just a fraction of an inch. There is a simple fix. Mount the Bottle and only install the bolts on the holes that do line up. Then use a “Center Punch” to mark the hole or holes to be drilled. Put the Center Punch in the hole on the metal U-Clip then hit the punch and mark the spot to be drilled. Remove the Bottle after you mark the spot. Then use a 1/4 inch drill bit to drill the hole. Now the  Bottle will line up correctly. I hope this helps with your install.

You can also use a pointed screwdriver or a big nail to mark the spot to be drilled.
