Lightly Used Buffet Paris R13 Clarinet in A with Silver Keys – Serial # 655678
Excellent condition Buffet Crampon Paris R13 series clarinet in A, serial number 655678. This clarinet is a few years old but still in prime shape, with no cracks or previous crack repairs. It has been well maintained and is ready for a new owner to enjoy.
This horn features silver plated keywork, all in great shape with no real finish wear to speak of. The instrument really only shows light cosmetic wear from normal use, such as light fading of the factory stamping on the upper joint. The clarinet comes with an original R13 65mm barrel, as well as an extra 65.5mm barrel. The extra barrel does show 2 fine cracks, which we will try to fill properly. Pads are in superb shape and sealing well, and the instrument will get a fresh check-over in our repair shop from Audrey Denny before shipping.
This clarinet plays with a lot of depth and color, with a strong focus, yet it takes your air well and is overall a fairly free blowing instrument. Intonation is superb up and down. This is an excellent choice for advancing students seeking to pick up their first A, or any pro player looking for a professional quality A on a budget.
