Selmer Signet Special Clarinet OVERHAULED With Vandoren B45 Mouthpiece.
New pads and corks, adjusted to play like new.
This instrument has selected grenadilla wood. Selmer had several models of intermediate clarinets (Signet 100, Signet Special, Signet Soloist). This is a step above the Selmer Signet 100.
There have been no cracks in the wood!!!
The nickel plating on the keys are not good in places. There is a picture showing the worst problem.
If you are looking for a great horn for marching season, or one for a beginner this would be a great choice!
Normally you would pay $200 plus to have a clarinet overhauled. Due to the pitting on some keys I’ve started the bid VERY LOW!
